Mozambique hosts stunning beaches and islands, a world heritage site, charming colonial architecture and colourful local cultures.

Mozambique is easily accessible. The more adventurous will opt for one of our overland tours. We use the new crossing Giriyondo or Pafuri border posts in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. 4 X 4 vehicles are the only way to get around taking this option and definately no public transport.

The best times to visit are between May and November, when both rainfall and temperatures are at their lowest. Be prepared for high temperatures when traveling between November and January. Between February and April the roads can become impassable due to the high rainfall and flooding is common in the South and central areas. April to November – consistent temperatures – 20 deg.C – 29 deg.C – little rainfall. Temperatures rise somewhat towards the Northern areas.

Bookings need to be made in advance for the Easter, Christmas/New Year periods and also August as to not be disappointed.
